WeIRCd is an open-source IRC daemon which focusses on easy administration and also integrates its own services to facilitate the setup.[2] It was first released in 2007 and is written in C. At the moment, it doesn't support linking other servers although that feature is being worked on.

Features
Amongst the usual featureset, WeIRCd is one of the few IRC daemons that provides a graphical administration interface for Windows systems that also allows you to edit the configuration without the need to edit the config file manually with a text editor.[Source?]
