About LinuxFire

LinuxFire is a Meta-Network ran on dedicated hosts. This network has been the target of attacks by many of the competition, but still survives to thrive to be where it is today. LinuxFire is not only an IRC network but a tech blog, and communications platform for development and support on group projects and software.

History

February 22, 2010, In the beginning there was nothing, and then xnite said Let their be IRC and there was. This IRC that came to be was known as I-Have-No.Info. Few flocked to I-Have-No.Info, and then one day in March came along Conflict IRC.

Conflict & IHNIirc stayed merged for a while, until one day it was no more. That day was the great split of May 16th.

Since then LinuxFire was attached to a Janus HUB which no longer exists today, and when they were cut off from there, started their own which DOES exist today, known as the LinuxFire Global Hub of Network Communications.
