KVIrc is an open-source desktop IRC client which is based on the Qt GUI Toolkit[3]. KVIrc has various features, such as different themes via the GUI or through scripting[4], 14 language translations[5], SSL, IPv6 and Proxy support and a built in encryption protocol[6], it also has its own scripting engine[7].
